That’s a serious accusation, where is your evidence?

No doubt they will do that, but it will be sad to see trees which are up to 150 years old felled.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social always picks the right weeks to go on his jollies! 🤣 Looking forward to your take on it tomorrow Lewis. 👍

Great as always guys. Having read the full interview from Jacob Murphy, and listening on the pod - I have a new found confidence that THIS team will finish the job on Sunday, and it will be at a canter. 👊

They’re speaking to a minority now. Most ‘normal’ people understand the car crash of Brexit. Even if they don’t like to admit it. Reminding the public of the lies of Farage and co, might be Starmers best play.

Arsenal have no strikers either with Merino getting sent off yesterday. All looking rosey for us. I’d like to get it confirmed at Arsenal. The thought of needing a win against Dino Arms in the last game fills me with dread.

I reckon it will be Man City, Villa and us. Chelsea and Forest to miss out.

It safeguards thousands of jobs and provides a vital boost to the economy. Nothing compares to EU membership, and kowtowing to Trump is hardly palatable. But the government is doing what’s necessary right now and that is acting in the UK’s best interests.

I’m not religious myself, but I acknowledge the significance of the role of the Pope. With 1.5 billion people looking to him for guidance, he carries immense influence and from what I’ve read, he seems an excellent choice. Mrs. H, a Catholic (of your generation), is very pleased with the choice.

Aye, that’s a concern. Rubbish kick off time. Early goal might settle the nerves.

Nothing wrong with any of that, and I agree with the strategy. Fair point on the flag. End of the day, we need to keep the fascists out. Labour should be flying given what’s happening in the US but they’re not, and that’s a real concern. I see decent people disillusioned with Labour.

By toughening on immigration, ‘stop the boats’ rhetoric, also playing the patriotism card, flag waving stuff. This is alienating their core voters who want to see a progressive Labour Party, not one scrapping for voters they will never win back. If you chase two rabbits, you lose them both

I’ll rephrase, it’s not rhetoric. It’s the flawed assumption that they can win back red wall Reform voters - they can’t. Those voters have swallowed the snake oil and aren’t coming back. Labour should stop appeasing them, they’re gone.

Some of the rhetoric towards anti-immigration has traits of reform. That’s where my concern lies.

Fucking moron. Plenty of this on this side of the pond too. Except it’s a Farage cult here.

Yup. You’d think they would’ve learned from Brexit. But no, clearly the capacity to ‘learn’ anything is beyond them. Farage cult.

Mate, you need to change your bio. We’ve all seen a trophy mow! 👍😊

I would have thought anyone with half a brain could’ve seen him for what he is by now. Evidently not.

Just like Trump, Reform weaponises immigration, persuading millions that it’s the root of their problems. Labour needs to stop trying to compete on that front, they won’t win, and Reform will stoop lower than a snake’s belly to get what they want.

Maybe nufc should stop floating announcement deadlines.

Same here. It would actually reconnect the city, via Gallowgate to the park. Not sure what they do with the well established trees there though.
