Not falling for anything lol. I agree this is mostly on manufacturers, but the marketing also worked. There are other choices. Many people with work trucks would be better off with a work van. Small trucks are great, but they can’t be made rn because of CAFE standards, unless electric.

I fail to understand who wants the high hood. It feels like someone just tried it, then people bought it like hotcakes. Might be a lot of marketing, but also the size comes back to CAFE standards. The hood tho, I’m not entirely sure. It’s just such a terrible idea.

If the trend follows 2020, as it probably will, police will ask for budget increases after this. All the while, they will cost the city millions in lawsuits and insurance rate increases.
