I try not to consume social media. I find it exhausting, which is the point. My current goal is to simply push back when people tell me what they saw on facebook, Xitter, etc. and call out the bullshit when I hear it. People need those voices IRL, because they’re not getting them online.

I’m worried that Mexican and Canadian tariffs are going to affect my employment. My employer does a ton of importing & exporting to & from both. Capital One has had “technical issues” since Wed that has held up deposits for thousands of people, including myself. They will face no punishment, but the customers will end up paying for it. I’m pretty lucky. I have a decent job that’s not too stressful, they have good PTO benefits and I’m currently off work until Jan 2 paid without using my PTO. I will still stand up for others that don’t get these benefits, because we ALL deserve more from our labor! Life shouldn’t mean work.
