Why the left lose, part 7547. Omaha (and surrounding areas) have 400,000 registered voters, so 3000 isn't huge. Also, this is BY FAR the most Dem area in a very Rep state. Dedicated activists turning up to rallies does not translate into popular national support. See Corbyn in the UK.

Or do away with it, institute a land value tax nationally, and find councils centrally based on need. 🤷‍♂️ A few councils in London have no budgetary pressures, because they have huge business rates income. Having huge chunks of council funding based on accidents of geography is nuts.
