Rip Harry Chapin, you could have written at least another four endings based on his

I'm still so sad that idiots latched onto the Gadsden flag, though. I'm old enough to remember when it was an all but forgotten historical relic and flying one would just mean that you were really into history. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

If we had a functional government, sure. I don't think we should take away the money that she's doing some good works with so that we can give it to Elon or build bombs to kill little kids with. Hell, I'd rather let her keep every penny in a Scrooge McDuck pile.

I think that people who live in states where the posted speed limit is actually the upper limit of what is safe for conditions don't understand what it's like to drive in states where the posted speed limit is deliberately set significantly below that threshold.

I was thinking something about how people used to think you had to separate them but I've been mixing all my laundry for years and it's just fine. (Except the delicates and anything really gross, but I think my analogy either falls apart or gets too deep for me here)

They tend to do things like doxx people for being adults in adult spaces, so they're a bit worse than annoying.

I remember learning about it in high school history in the Civil War unit, because it was such a big deal that it was suspended then.

If the subject matter wasn't cringey enough, the trashy pole barn is just... yeesh.

Oh definitely. Even just recently, when I've tried to clearly express to my household that I'm overwhelmed and need some of the tasks I do for them to be handled by themselves, they've responded by creating even more work for me instead. ๐Ÿ˜’

I have a kid with a dairy allergy. Plant based is a good indicator that there are no dairy products in something. It's nice to not have to read every single ingredient list every time, to at least narrow things down a bit

From who, Roman Polansky?

I thought the guy's whole thing was that he was born by ivf and was angry that he was alive. I didn't think it had anything to do with attacking abortion

Because like even if that was a real thing that could happen, this dude is against saving any other innocent bystanders. ๐Ÿ˜’

Do they actually like their wives and daughters?

Definitely seen that in my kids

I'm coming from PA on Monday if anyone along the 78 corridor needs a ride in

But it doesn't even work that way; it takes the strong and makes them weak, too. I always think of the Wilders when I think about diptheria. Almanzo had been a healthy man before they had it; afterwards they had to sell their farm because he struggled to walk

It also, like so many other crunchy things, never used to be so associated with one side of politics

Maybe the more recent trend is people who are less aware of it, but I've been occasionally getting raw milk for 20ish years, and everyone I've known involved with that has been aware of those things
comment in response to post
In my state (PA), raw milk requires more stringent testing and a special license to sell it.

This. And then I'd ponder my life choices while sitting on the bathroom floor squirting bleach water into the tub. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've got a rising junior who's tiptop academically so we're going to be looking at some pretty prestigious places, and I'm crossing them off the list now.

I feel like it may be less about whether the jet is the biggest sin happening, and more about how useful it can be in taking him down. If that's the thing that gets his camp to turn against him, so be it.

You think things have been so clearly and irretrievably horrible since the 70s that every adult should have seen that and no one should have had kids since then?

What are people supposed to do if they already had them before all of that started?

I don't go here, but my impression of the people whining about this is that they lump the Welsh in with immigrants as well. Or possibly worse.
