Awesome!

Really looking forward to this - come and join us. 💜💜💜

Really excited to be a part of this incredible event. Come along and change futures: thenextdecade.co.uk

podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/t... Well this is just wonderful

Not the start to half term I was anticipating.

🌶️'How will Ofsted discern which schools are genuinely ‘Exemplary’ on inclusion? And if they won’t drive more ethical collaboration, then who?' @keziah70.bsky.social

This from @keziah70.bsky.social is excoriating about Ofsted 🔥

Our full statement in Ofsted report cards: headteachersroundtable.wordpress.com/2025/02/14/h...

🌶️ 'Nando's memes aside, there’s a genuine risk it could annihilate not just the current generation of school leaders but the next one too'

We risk missing “a golden opportunity to deliver fully inclusive schools through policy and practice” - important messages from co-chair @keziah70.bsky.social.

It was a privilege to join a group of #disruptivewomen in leadership this evening and plan our #WomenEdLondon summer event! More details to follow for a celebration of all #WomeninEducation #IWD and WomenEd’s #tenthbirthday 💜

Today Heads Roundtable met to try and make sense of the last week. We will release thoughts soon but emerging thoughts: there’s a lot of change being proposed, we will focus on how it all lands for all children and our staff - not on politics or position. We are #HeadsRoundtable

A new poll by Teacher Tapp suggests just 6% of teachers feel 'positive' about Ofsted's reform proposals

Don’t forget that we are here if you need someone to talk to who has sat in your chair. It’s free, totally confidential and entirely safe.

Excellent blog by @headrestuk.bsky.social www.headrestuk.co.uk/blog/missed-...

When the absolute worst happens, it throws everything else into perspective. Our thoughts with the school, family and community.

For anyone looking for education policy people on Bluesky (and if you're missing let me know!) go.bsky.app/PHBkF8y

Thank you Mary 💜

My piece in @schoolsweek.bsky.social Time everyone moved beyond petty politics and hyperbole. We have much more important things to focus on. We should be re-imagining the school system to serve all young people properly not re-hashing 10 year old arguments. schoolsweek.co.uk/political-po...

So pleased @keziah70.bsky.social is joining us at this event. This day is going to be epic 💥 Don’t miss out, you’ve got over a week to secure your tickets!! #PunkLeadership #WomenEd @womened.bsky.social @headsroundtable.bsky.social

An important blog from @headsroundtable.bsky.social on the C&A Review, this time a secondary perspective. headteachersroundtable.wordpress.com

Got to keep on banging on about it. 👏🏽

Thanks for covering this @theguardian.com Thanks @headsroundtable.bsky.social members @jonnyuttley.bsky.social and @andrewoneill.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/education/20...

Our next speaker reveal for our Midlands event on 1st March is the one and only, punk leadership extraordinaire that is @keziah70.bsky.social Would you like to join Keziah’s talk? Then get your tickets today: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/step-up-mi... @womened.bsky.social @headsroundtable.bsky.social

The @HeadsRoundtable continues to be the public voice of the sensible, ethical majority in the profession. I know I am far from the only one who greatly appreciates their collective wisdom and leadership. 👏👏👏

A positive trend, with persistent absence down from 20.3% to 18.7% year-on-year Sept-Jan. BUT...it stood at 10.9% pre-Covid, @cerysturner.bsky.social reports here. So still a very long way to go.

Very well said! @keziah70.bsky.social @carolinebarlow.bsky.social

For those vast majority of ethical, inclusive headteachers, please see our open letter to the Secretary of State for Education.

A strong defence of the edu sec & the schools bill, by a group of headteachers including @keziah70.bsky.social and @carolinebarlow.bsky.social. Certain individuals with "amplified" voices have publicly criticised the bill & Bridget Phillipson - but "do not speak for the vast majority", they say.

How can we support T&L about the British Empire? Do you work in a MAT or sch whose students could help us answer that Q by taking part in an online survey this term? If so, we’d love to hear from you: [email protected] @jonnyuttley.bsky.social @keziah70.bsky.social @moremorrow.bsky.social

Last week I wrote about the amazing buzz of working in alternative provision; this week we are seeking an additional learning coach to join the team. Apply here: www.wmjobs.co.uk/job/220205/l...

This is a cracking piece by @keziah70.bsky.social

Instead of arguing about trusts vs maintained schools, let’s focus on collaboration between all schools, ‘which happens organically when we are not pitted against each other through league tables, Progress 8 and Ofsted banners,’ writes @keziah70.bsky.social ⬇️

"it is not the structure itself that determines practice, it is the people leading who create the culture and climate," argues @keziah70.bsky.social who adds we should be focusing debate on metrics like P8 that hinder collaboration

What should the NPQ and ECF reviews - announced last week - focus on? @cerysturner.bsky.social and @ellencph.bsky.social have talked to providers, schools and trust leaders and teachers and come up with the following list... www.tes.com/magazine/new...
