Yea the energy lately has been "let me do what I want or I won't build the cool scifi future!" and its like...yall haven't delivered much in a long time. Why should we care, you are just some guy that doesn't know anything either.

100s of billions to make digital train tracks (with all that geofencing and lidar data) when they could have spent less on real tracks

Yuuup. I was so floored by the initial results that I got a little too bold and took on a bunch of stuff like Grad school because I felt invincible but then started to learn real quick how bad my coping mechanisms have been all my life. But trying new stuff actually works now

God I love Dyson Spheres/swarms. Theres not even enough material in the solar system for these things. These guys never think about implementation details at all. As long as you can do some napkin math that says “this works in theory” than it means we’re gonna do it.

Pretty sure its covered in the major TESCREAL Bundle essays by Dr. Gebru and Torres

If you label yourself a Rational Non-Emotion Haver, every impulse that pops into your head is objectively true and smart and not just a feeling you had, and you can freely act on it without further thought

Im starting to wonder if all these men even recognize they are angry? They will throw a full out toddler tantrum but call it Alpha Male Dominance and a power play “Im not angry im just doing AWESOME things!” Like the “im NOT tired!” move

The male loneliness epidemic stays self-inflicted

Nah I'm tryin to pay it forward, its nice to see because I genuinely enjoy being a hype man

They need to touch more goddamn grass. When everything is just abstract to you, you end up hyperfocused about definitions and arguing "first principles" to the point that you forget people need fuckin food to eat and maybe that changes the balance of the equation here

Yea they can be turned INTO art but aren't art in and of themselves I say. So much of this machine generated art stuff hinges on that stupid "walks like a duck, talks like a duck..." cliche because they try to hide everything about the process that went into making it. "How are humans any diff?" 🙄

"Nah uh! Somewhere in the weights of the neural net nodes, there is meaning and it knows things and can tell me what it thinks!" *I continue to insist as i slowly shrink and transform into a corn cob*

And they never wanna hear substantive scientific criticism anyway. They just abstract out and handwave absolutely every damn thing.

Notice how everything they try to claim is getting much smaller in scope and just more bleak? This shit sucks and they know it so they have to get more and more outlandish about super intelligence solving everything, otherwise we are left with ear pods delivering commands to us. Pathetic
comment in response to post
Probably something closer to the 75 billion they spent last year and 93 they spent this year

Heh you're good, wasn't trying to correct you, just "yea, and"-ing. The pipeline didn't work well enough, because one of us became President and a black woman became one of the most beloved First Lady's ever. So they are lookin to "fix" that

I hated that fuckin thing Bring it back! As a kid I thought it really was going to be like a little AI assistant. But The Future didnt happen. Now they are doin that shit AGAIN but this time even worse, and just abusing the fuck out of bioterms & peoples lack understanding how humans work

Thats what just straight up throwing us in prison for the cheap labor is all about, and they've been doin that since emancipation

Curtis Yarvin of Dark (dork) Enlightenment and neoreactionary "fame" and the rest of his ilk want to bring back Monarchy and other dumb-as-shit ideas like that. He's come up a lot lately because more people are noting his connection to Vance and Thiel and he recently wrote some more dumb shit

It seems that no matter how many times we say "garbage in garbage out" they just won't listen
