Seriously cool writeup from a seriously cool team

DOGE recommended firing workers at: -FDA, which oversees Neuralink -FAA, which oversees SpaceX -USAID, which probed Starlink -CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X. "Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

I'm instituting a complete and total ban on doomer sentiment in my replies. "Actually nothing good can ever happen and you're a naive fool if you think otherwise." Understandable given recent events but enough!

sure, groceries are getting too expensive and planes are dropping out of the sky every day, but have you considered you now have the Opportunity to invest in DookyCoin, the legal crypto that let’s me steal from you?

Are you a view model? Cause you're way too pretty to be a regular view.

It would really be nice if Apple would let us choose which apps we auto-update. I’d like to keep a few specific apps up to date, but really don’t care about the rest (or actively don’t want to update)

Did not know the Sega Saturn used quadrilaterals as it's primitive 3D shape that's awesome www.copetti.org/writings/con...

Getting language server syntax highlighting working in @codeedit.app! Swift files look sooo much better with this enabled.

Which app is best at presenting large amounts of data in an appealing and understandable way? Which one has the prettiest tables? I need inspiration!

someone should make a youtube documentary on the downfall of Fig

Accidentally deleted all my snippets in Xcode. Don't hmu I'm going through it rn

This video game would have sold better if it were a completely different game. I am very wise.

CHROMAKOPIA IN MINNEAPOLIS WAS AMAZING

For this exact reason I've been meaning to try out @lukaspistrol.com's TimeMachineStatus app. It's pretty neat for regular backups, it's on GitHub here: github.com/lukepistrol/...

Finally got my home server set up with Samba for Time Machine backups. Haven't backed up my machine in over 3 years because I ran out of storage (and my data got too big for USB sticks). I bought a 4TB HDD like a year ago and just now finally got the HDD and Samba working on Gentoo Linux

Mavs really traded Luka for this guy

I love this genre of photos

So much reporting about Dallas's concerns about Doncic's weight. It's almost like the five straight All-NBA First Team's and the 12-5 record in last season's conference playoffs didn't happen. Yeesh. What are we even talking about?

We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines. The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds. It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

@mcuban.bsky.social bro why are you trading LUKA DONCIC????

I may need to eat my words on this... turns out Xcode was mucking everything up bad. Getting swiftly on macos will be a huge help. The SDKs work well once set up correctly, but could have some better tooling on macos (especially with toolchain selection)

No, I do not think we should use gAI to build literature reviews, and we definitely shouldn't be teaching faculty how to do this, this is not just some fancy new search engine, what on earth is wrong with you and why are you doing this ffs

Wow the Swift tooling for building on Linux or cross compiling is still not in a good spot. I'd heard of swiftly, but it only works on a few supported linux platforms, and the new Swift SDKs have issues compiling SwiftNIO I built a whole web app before realizing it just won't run on my home server.
