The same people whose theory of fighting fascism (from Trump, it has to be said, bc it's not clear they understand that Trump is the fascist here) is whining ceaselessly about Chuck Schumer are the same people whose theory of winning an election was to whine ceaselessly about Merrick Garland.

I think large, positive, and peaceful gatherings to build community and raise people's awareness are better than screaming at National Guardsmen who don't wanna be there and waving foreign flags in front of burning cars, but that's just me.

I think there ought to be large, planned, and peaceful demonstrations in many of America’s major cities with music and entertainment and speakers. But spontaneously showing up to scream at the National Guard increases the risk of people going bonkers.
