At the end of the day, whoever you are, your position on all this comes down to one question: do you and can you understand Palestinians as fully human, as sharing equally and totally in your humanity?

It's ofc true that Zionism is deeply informed by a response to massive suffering persecution, and collective trauma. But it can never be "complicated" to oppose the slaughter of innocents, or even to hold that anti-racism is incompatible with the aims of a racially segregated fascist ethnostate.

Thing is, people are hardwired to feel protectively over kids. You can't bludgeon this instinct out of people no matter how much you might want to.
