... perhaps consider that in sharing explicit and gory details of traumatic events in your stories may only "feed" the desires of some individuals, and maybe you don't need to do that. Maybe some things aren't worth "feeding." 6/6

I guess, what I'm saying in short is just this: a) always, always, always provide content warnings if possible, and b) sometimes alluding to traumatic events is equally or more effective than describing them explicitly and uh... the last bit, might be a doozy but... c) ... 5/

And from an artistic standpoint, even, sometimes leaving the reader to draw their own conclusions about the severity is viable, not only in terms of how far their imaginations go, but also in terms of where their imaginations will *safely* take them, too. (Hope I'm making sense here). 4/

... but there are ways and means to tell a story, even one that involves traumatic events, w/o resorting to getting into the explicitly graphic and gory details. And it's certainly not necessary for storytelling purposes to involve visual depictions of those types of details. 3/

I believe (good) storytelling requires conflict (and conflict resolution). I believe that "trauma" as a term is actually a very broad one, and that positive experiences AND traumas shape people, impact personalities, and are part of the "drive" of stories... 2/

It's not so much difficult to share the day for me, but as a Pisces, I won't date another Pisces. That's too much fish for any one person. ๐

What I'm less than happy about is the greedy nature of re-releasing TS2 while plenty of people have the full collection (still), but *fixes* only being implemented in the re-release. 2/2

I had the completed collection for TS1, but sadly, I lost the discs for that years ago. I do miss TS1 sometimes, so THAT I might be tempted by. We shall see, though, because I definitely don't feel a 25 yo game warrants a big price tag strictly for the nostalgia aspect. 2/2

I don't mean to bring up sorrow for you, but I just want you to know that I understand and sympathize greatly with the loss of your feathered friend. ๐๐ซ

I hate to say this, and many people tell me I'm over-reacting, but in my opinion killiing people? That's *exactly* what they're aiming for.

Yes! I had found it on Patreon because of a link I followed on someone else's Patreon... I was able to acquire it from HeyBrine's Patreon, too. Both parts! The cab was the part that caught my attention & made me want it, even though it's all great! ๐

Thank you so much for this post - I knew I had seen CC I wanted to grab for a motor home type build, but life distracted and I lost the post before downloading! That CC pack was the very thing! ๐ซถ

She has a legacy that lives on, both in those puppies and in the hearts of those who loved her. That will go on and on, as long as those who loved her, & those who exist because of her do. ๐ซ
Not that it takes away the sadness, but it's so good you recognize the joy, too.

Very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful girl, and I'm sure she more than lived up to the reputation of being man's best friend. ๐พ๐ค

I have got to find this one somewhere. Best Robin Hood, because "unlike some other Robin Hoods [he could] speak with an English accent." ๐

As someone who took a long time to learn to appreciate horror films, I actually enjoyed Nosferatu. It's beautifully shot, the performances are impressive!
That said, it's definitely a far cry from Dracula Dead and Loving It. (Which is hilarious.) ๐
