The Rosette Nebula cleared a tree as the sky cleared and darkened last night. I took advantage of the 140 min until it went behind another tree to capture 60s and 15s exposures through LRGB filters. I used the 15s subs for the stars. Must find a site with a better southern view! #astrophotography

Another example of how broken the electrical infrastructure is in the USA... overhead electrical wires make no sense/are dangerous in large parts of the country, but the power companies don't feel enough pressure to bury them.

When I started teaching physics in 1992, I got a lot of benefit watching Paul Hewitt's Conceptual Physics Alive! videos. They show Paul teaching intro physics at the U of Hawaii. It gave me confidence to see his approach in practice. Paul just posted them online: conceptual.academy #ITeachPhysics
