I suggest you show the example on the Arbor page, then insert links that take you to the Next Time questions you wanted to showcase. If you right click any of the ones posted on Arbor you can copy the link that downloads it. This is one of my favorites: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/00... #ITeachPhysics

Like this one from Andrew McCarthy? I wouldn't have the courage to print any of mine larger than 8x10! cosmicbackground.io/pages/ea_the...

Try measuring the frequency of the sound with your phone and PhyPhox or Spectrumview. The end reminds me of this: youtu.be/d6iHSR-DH1M?... #ITeachPhysics

It doesn't take long to collect data. Set up 3 stations that students rotate through. Many possibilities, inelastic, elastic with one cart initially stationary, elastic with both moving. Students find momentum and kinetic energy just before and just after each collision. #ITeachPhysics

"Lawyers suing Edison allege that a Jan. 7 power surge on a nearby, active line created a magnetic field that briefly re-energized the dormant cable, setting off the sparks that ignited the blaze." Maybe these lawyers actually learned something in their high school physics class! #ITeachPhysics

We gave students 4 colored liquids. Water, and 3 of different salinity. They ranked them by density using a straw. Insert straw 1" in a solution, place finger over end, remove and then put it 2" in another, remove finger, the put it back and lift out. If the colors mix, the top solution was denser.

Consider a digital frame. You can have all your best images displaying on a loop. They look great and when you get a better image, you can replace the old one! I have one of these: auraframes.com?bopis=true #astrophotography

Good idea, but there is no need. Arbor Scientific has the Conceptual Physics Next Time questions posted on their website: www.arborsci.com/pages/next-t... #ITeachPhysics

We were fortunate to have him as a regular at our local NCNAAPT meetings. He had a huge influence on my teaching. Whenever I wonder where I got something, it usually traces back to PGH. #ITeachPhysics

All 3 no doubt. He shares some of his workflow and answers questions about his technique, but he concentrates on creating unique images and selling beautiful prints. cosmicbackground.io/collections/...

Couldn't help re-posting my image of M31 along side Andrew McCarthy's. I created this from 60s and 15s exposures in December. The extra detail Andrew brings out in the core gives me something to shoot for in the future. We seem to have similar instincts for composition and cropping #astrophotography

“It’s definitely been an emotional rollercoaster, though.” One that won't stop anytime soon.

I have read some thoughtful arguments likening it to resegregation.
