Can definitely happen, higher temp hot glue works better but it can still peel sometimes.

I’ve used hot glue and had decent luck, especially for stuff that’s going to have fur as an outer layer. My crow is also 3D printed.
I’ve used hot glue to attach padding to my Mercs helmets for years.
