If costs go up, of course they will. Easy to solely blame the insurers, and they deserve a lot of blame, but prior auths were put in place for a reason. Too much low value care.

If you haven't read this, it's well worth it. @johnwoodrowcox.bsky.social argues that, since we don't seem able to do any real control control, one of the very least things we could do is hold parents more responsible when the kids use guns from the household.

Funny Robert Redford story: he auditioned for the lead in "The Graduate" but Mike Nichols was dubious. 'When was the last time you struck out with a woman?" Nichols asked. "What do you mean?" a puzzled Redford replied. So, he did not get the part. 😏
