I think we now have an idea of the feeling of despair those who bravely fought the devastating wildfires had. There are so many fires jumping off in our government and we are running around with our buckets of water. In the government's case it is a planned arson attack.

I am 66yo and there are many days that stand out in my memories..JFKs funeral, the moon landing, the Challenger disaster, 9/11 attacks I sincerely don't want to be able to add "the day Democracy died" to that list, we need to peddle faster.
