Vancouver Coastal Health confirms accused mass murderer Adam Lo was "under the care of a mental health team and on extended leave in accordance with the Mental Health Act." So he had been in hospital but was out at the time of he deadly vehicle attack that left 11 dead and 32 injured.

“This enforcement action is an example of how we counter fentanyl production at its source and continue to aggressively combat organized crime groups that are becoming increasingly more sophisticated in their scientific and technical abilities,” RCMP Asst. Commissioner David Teboul said.

RCMP "enforcement actions" in March across BC have led to the dismantling of 3 clandestine fentanyl labs and 2 arrests. Warrants executed in Pitt Meadows, Mission, Aldergrove, Langley and Mission. Labs were in Pitt Meadows, Mission and Aldergrove. Precursors also seized.

BC RCMP's federal policing section says it has dismantled several fentanyl labs and arrested chemists - details coming at 1 pm. Stay-tuned.

I learned more from sources about the hitman. Police investigated his BC history at the time and couldn't link him to any murders here. But his admission impacted the bigger investigation because they had to act quickly to deal with him. vancouversun.com/news/admitte...
