How lovely that the White House Christmas ornament this year honored Jimmy Carter. It is double sided and in the shape of an anchor. On it are symbols of his life. It was such a meaningful and beautiful gift. Jimmy Carter was a saintly man who moved among us with love, compassion and integrity.

I really was full of hope and felt she could win. I am well aware of the misogyny but she was such an outstanding candidate. I lived through the women’s movement and trying to get the ERA into the constitution and Hilary’s loss but I still felt maybe things had changed.
