When you’re chronically ill, few things are more stressful than committing to something in advance that you can’t cancel. Our systems in flux. We have frequent crashes, emergencies & setbacks. One of the greatest things you can do for us is be flexible. Let us cancel, say “No” or change plans.

I got pretty burnt out and stopped sharing things a few years ago and never really made it back online or to cons, but I've found a lot of joy in just making the thing I want to exist when I have the resources and energy to do so. I do projects to make the brain worms happy.

I don't talk much about my health, but chronically ill mutuals will know what a big accomplishment it is that I just hit my cardio target for the week even though I really didn't feel like it today. Being consistent about physical therapy and a baseline of movement makes such a huge difference 1/2

I just saw someone refer to a Tar Heel as a Duke fan and I need White Lotus fans to know that the UNC Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils are rivals. I hate that my childhood area is in the culture and I don't want to be reminded but I will not let misinformation stand.
