Where did i change subjects? You asked me who at the DNC I was talking about and I told you: Ken Martin. What facts did you ask for which i did not give? I dont even know what point you're trying to make.
comment in response to post
Its not my fault you cant see my original post on the subject. And even in that post, I talk about how the central issue is the influence of the rich. You should take your own advice. By your screen cap, you do not have all the facts.
comment in response to post
My original argument was literally that the DNC serves the donors. Where do you believe I changed topics?
comment in response to post
Fascists always assume they'll never be the victim of the system they helped create.
comment in response to post
It's not my fault you can't be bothered to follow the conversation. My argument has always been that the DNC puts donors wants first. That minorities are an ancillary concern for the party at best. Ken Martin is not a minority. So why do you keep banging on about that?
comment in response to post
So your argument is that you have to give Democrats super majorities forever, or there's nothing they can do? Do you understand what a mark you sound like right now?
comment in response to post
And this isn't an apology for anything. He never even mentions the crime bill directly.
comment in response to post
That apology doesn't say what you think it does. He talks about "working with segregationists" but doesn't mention his own segregationist views. He in fact implies he opposed them on the issue of segregation. Might want to read your sources first.
comment in response to post
Okay. Demonstrate Joe Biden's change for me. Has he ever even renounced his views as Wallace did? Relying on the black vote to win elections doesn't qualify.
comment in response to post
Not sure where you think I said anything positive about the GOP. I don't expect perfection. I expect consistency. And neither Democrats, nor their diehard voters, have any.
comment in response to post
JFC... And liberals wonder why it's impossible to take you all seriously. This argument is circular. Who do you believe is going to revise those laws? The politicians who take money from billionaires and then serve their interests? Come on.
comment in response to post
So easy you refuse to do so? Why? Why waste both our times *not* answering the question if you could in a post or two?
comment in response to post
Can you rephrase that question so it makes sense in the context of this conversation? I'm highlighting that the DNC is captured by capital. Since my argument is that the DNC pays lip service to minorities for votes, without actually representing their interests in office.
comment in response to post
These are methodology questions, not end goal questions.
comment in response to post
Why didn't you answer my questions? I don't believe you can take over the party. Which is why I'm asking you to explain how you're going to do it. I didn't say it's inevitable. But surely you have some way to prevent it?
comment in response to post
Let's start with the guy who talked about "good billionaires" immediately after he was given the chair position.
comment in response to post
Genuine question: How do you plan to take over the party when capitalists control the top positions? How do you ensure these people you're putting in don't end up captured by capital like establishment Democrats?
comment in response to post
The party itself, the movers and shakers who actually run the show and are not elected by anyone, is captured by capital. Which means the entire structure is. I'm not talking about voters. I'm talking about the party. You need to learn to make the distinction.
comment in response to post
Warren and Sanders are both sellouts. Anyone on the actual left has no problem saying this.
comment in response to post
Biden was literally a segregationist. You know that, right? Why would you back someone who historically has actively opposed your liberation from white supremacist systems?
comment in response to post
It's not about how many votes billionaires get. It's about the favors the politicians promise in return. The DNC doesn't care about minorities, except in so far as they can be exploited for votes by simple lip service.
comment in response to post
Is it though? Seems like a waste of time trying to change a party captured by capital. I think we're better served by waking folks up to the fact that the political class doesn't work for us. But you do you.
comment in response to post
lol okay...
comment in response to post
Done and done. There's nothing of value coming from that account.
comment in response to post
Not sure what that means. How do you plan to stop it?
comment in response to post
Literally just got into it with a liberal who refuses to admit that donors are what drives DNC policy.
comment in response to post
Yes and no. This will become the new normal. bsky.app/profile/king...
comment in response to post
It's incredible the lengths you'll go to to dismiss arguments you can't counter.
comment in response to post
Why do you insist on talking out of both sides of your face? Is the US a structurally and institutionally racist country, yes or no?
comment in response to post
I bet you think that's clever.
comment in response to post
Thanks for letting me know it was a complete waste of time responding to you. You never had any intention of engaging in a real discussion.
comment in response to post
And he shouldn't be in office anymore either...
comment in response to post
She says the US is not a racist country, while you say that racism is structural. You literally *cannot* have it both ways. I know exactly how it works. The US isn't as hard to figure out as you think it is.
comment in response to post
Why do you refuse to name the people you're referring to? Who is seeking to represent a community they do not belong to?
comment in response to post
Right here. Hogg wanted to primary some Democrats. By your argument, primarying them is "shitting on them".
comment in response to post
You aren't dismantling white supremacy by "voting blue no matter who". You don't even acknowledge the relationship between capitalism and white supremacy, or how the DNC plays with identity in the most cynical ways possible. Do you agree Harris lying about institutional racism?
comment in response to post
So you're saying you *don't* believe in Democracy? That Democrats should never be primaried?
comment in response to post
I'd also really like to know who this nebulous "they" is.
comment in response to post
Care to explain what point you think this makes anyway?
comment in response to post
You're just an insular idiot. It's wild that you make that absolutely insane proclamation and then immediately admit you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
comment in response to post
WTF are you even talking about? What does any of this nonsense have to do with the conversation at hand?
comment in response to post
I'm white and I live in Canada. What does this question have to do with anything?
comment in response to post
Okay.
comment in response to post
Where do you think I said Sanders *is* a Democrat? WTF are you babbling about? What black woman did Bernie Sanders blame for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and xenophobia? Cite your source.
comment in response to post
WTF are you even babbling about, ma'am? How is running in a primary "not working for it"?
comment in response to post
In your estimation, why do people who label themselves "left" lose under the Democrat banner?
