Queensrÿche. “Take Hold of the Flame.” 1984. Tokyo. Chris DeGarmo brought such a distinct sound to his songwriting — it’s those ‘angled’ chords & riffs, always so technical and harmonic. This has to be a top 10 QR song in my book. #Metalsky
