The lack of Mera, Jackson, and Atlantis did disappoint me too. They are just as important to the Aquaman world as Arthur! So to see them sideline in the first issue and barely in any panels disappoints me.

Aquaman using the hydrokinesis to lift the water to stop a plane crash! SO INSANELY COOL! The world-building of Atlantis looks beautiful and historical!
