Funny enough, I rewatched it a few days ago too. The words at the end felt really poignant as well:
โThe unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope. Because if a machine, a Terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.โ

Nah the dude is just flipping and squirming like all of them would to cover their own ass. Don't lose sight of that even if its popcorn time right now :)

Shift + del doesn't remove bookmarks. It's meant for deleting one item from your history.

One thing I've long wanted, is the ability to remove a bookmark directly from the address bar suggestions list, either by clicking an icon or a context menu.

Yeah poor choice of words, I realize the VO stuff is very much about AI. But yes, everyone is directly or indirectly affected by all the things happening in the world right now. Taking a break is fine, but tuning out entirely not so much.

Between wars, global politics, AI and everything else, it's understandably pretty tough to get attention to issues that are minor by comparison. People only have so much capacity for the constant barrage of shit we deal with daily now.
It sucks that there's no normalcy in the horizon either.

Lasers fixed, timeline boss teleport change, phoenix shrine visual noise reduced, stash search improvements.
Wow, beefy patch, love to see it! ๐

On a positive spin, at least you have that ability to question the things you see, as you well should these days. Far too many people easy to manipulate when they still believe things at face value.

Done. The screenshot explains it if you take another look. It's precisely about responsive design mode loading a second image in small screen sizes.
This doesn't happen when you resize the window without responsive design mode, i.e. under normal use.

After playing it a bunch more, I think it's more clever than I initially thought, but only to an extent. It is struggling to keep my interest up, due to quite a bit of repetition. One or two runs and I'm done for the day.
Not sure I'll return to it after Last Epoch season 2 hits tomorrow.

Thank you. Now I just need to find a few months of time to dig back in! ๐

True! Walking is arguably a boring activity, but I discovered audiobooks last year and that made all the difference.
Now when I want to know what happens next in the book, I need to go for a walk to find out. Strangely, walking sort of became the side effect.
Next step is to try weighted vests.

I'm glad your friend has taken an interest in this topic, considering how fucked (and not in a good way) things are.

15:55 you talked about Firefox inspector and accessibility. It's worth mentioning, that one useful thing you can do in inspector, is check the css color property for contrast ratios, and maybe more importantly use the color picker to test color contrasts right there quickly.

I don't know about good, but I think I recently used it in an auto-fit based grid of cards, to avoid a potential only child from spreading too wide.

Sorry no, my bad for not having immediate examples of it. I've been off the Blizzard train for a few years now. Point is, it just sucks to see GGG step on the toes of a "friend" by doing a cold business move, but it is what it is. ๐คท

Blizzard has done rather purposeful schedule crashing in the past. In their case it just happens to be the normal expected behavior from such a big corp, where they don't care about the little guy.

I don't mind the wait, but I'm certainly not a fan of GGG approaching this like I would expect Blizzard to.

Lovely aesthetic with the bricks, minus the cables ๐
Cable management for a standing desk can be a pain though.

Day by day they get away with more and more, feeling more emboldened. The complete lack of spine from so many sure is something. It is truly astonishing that it ever got this far, let alone where it's going, and going fast.
Good luck cutting through the noise and truly reaching people.

This has changed a lot over the years. There are more things that force the experience to be different now and the whole nature of the web and all the devices has evolved.
Years back it was more natural to push for pixel perfect consistency. Now it can be detrimental. Easy trap to fall for though.

Well done! Not that I ever used it to that extent, but basically went through the same process last month.

I'm all for people moving away from Chrome, but most of the options, like that one, still use Chromium, and thus often count as "Chrome". Firefox is where it's at, because it has its own engine, plus things like uBlock Origin work the best there.
That said, trees do be cool!

Absolutely. Even without AI, people really need to learn to question the validity of the things they read online. Way too many gut reactions all over the place. It certainly doesn't help, that so much of social media thrives on conflict (to put it nicely), and so many seem incapable of looking away.

Binged all of the first Castlevania and then S1 and S2 of Nocturne. Nocturne may have started a bit slow, but damn it gets good. You all done well, and I hope you get to do so in the future too. ๐

I especially like the ability to resize the channel list. Now we just need the same ability for the member list.
I'm also glad the servers are smaller, though I could see others feeling the opposite. It would benefit from a setting probably.

Just to cap this off, I tried my laptop which I hadn't used in a while. It worked the same as my main PC, so I will just adapt to how things work currently. If I had a way to change the functionality, I would, but it's not a big deal. It can remain a mystery to me. ๐

Good of you to push for it, but I think even better if people simply leave and let their absence speak. After all, it works both ways :)
