Here's a Thursday Handbrake Off, talking all things Arsenal! @ianstonecomedy.bsky.social hosts alongside me & @gunnerblog.bsky.social podfollow.com/1488521732/e...

Today marks nine years of Poorly Drawn Arsenal

Remind me how long since Saka played. To still be top of this stat is insane tbh.

A new Handbrake Off podcast from me, @adrianjclarke.bsky.social and @amylawrence.bsky.social We talked Merino, Nwaneri and birthdays amongst other things. Have a listen here pod.fo/e/2adf9f

Terrific news that Spursy has made it to German.

Stick with this team, they deserve our backing. UTA 🔴⚪️✊

Mikel Merino, the Fellaini arc. I told ya’ll.

Valentine's #Spursy Special ♥️♥️: Roses are red, violets are blue, 6⃣2⃣0⃣0⃣ days, but no trophy for you, Hope starts to rise, but we all know the plot… A #Spursy collapse? More likely than not.

Kai has played almost identical minutes to Haaland & Salah in all comps. I see hardly any mention of them being overplayed or poorly managed. (& salah is over 30). I really believe the justifiable frustration about transfers is leading people to draw specious injury conclusions

Hi @23carra.bsky.social just wondering if you will be retracting your incorrect opinion on Arteta keeping the “young players in their place” by making them use a different changing room? As I am sure you are now aware, It’s due to safe guarding laws introduced to prevent child exploitation.

Book # 5 for 2025: The Champ & The Chump by James McNicholas Familiar with @gunnerblog.bsky.social via @arseblog.com Arsecast Extra, he charts his MdDS and his world champ grandad’s career. So much good stuff but at its core the love between a grandkid and grandparents shines through. FIND & READ.

This whole situation is a great case study in one of life’s great truths. The people who bray the loudest and are celebrated the most for being hard and tough are, without exception, the thinnest skinned, whiniest little babies going.

Had the kind of triggering chat that I hoped wouldn’t be necessary anymore, with @philcosta.bsky.social. Cheers to Phil, and to all who’ve addressed it this week. 👊🏾👇🏾

Grateful that I don’t have to support the magpies in the final….

A Crystal Palace fan explains why people hate Arsenal and does a really good job www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHpj...

I know, who gives a fuck what Alan Brazil thinks but it is incredible that a mainstream radio station can just publish outright misogyny on its programming and nobody bats an eyelid about it. It’s insane how tolerated misogyny is, it’s not even relegated to nudge, nudge wink, wink stuff or coded.

Exactly and fair play to him. You can add Ivan Toney's "Nice kickabout with the boys" tweet. Is it annoying being on the end of such things? Yes. Do you have to take it if you give it? Yes. It's the very essence of fandom. If Haaland dishes it out then he has to be prepared to take it in return.

This is just so funny! www.youtube.com/shorts/JbAGe...

You know, I thought that by dropping twitter I’d see a drop in sales in the shop. Turns out, using a platform that doesn’t suppress links makes it a lot easier for people to buy things

Ethan Nwaneri's goal ended a passing sequence of 36 uninterrupted passes in a move that lasted one minute & 54 seconds and involved every Arsenal outfield player. It was the longest passing move leading to a Premier League goal since September 2023.

5 - Mikel Arteta is now unbeaten in five games against Manchester City (W2 D3); the joint-longest run by a manager against Pep Guardiola, after Thomas Tuchel (2016-2021) and Jürgen Klopp (2021-2022). Equals.

As a fun aside, we're 23pts ahead of Spurs with 14 games left. St Totteringham's is going to be VERY early this year.
