So smooth!!!

We originally figured that the asset should let the vtuber eat the popsicle but didn't consider just how distracting that would actually look on a model XD Luckily it's an easy fix in Live2D and I just rigged angle tracking to make it come closer to your face when turning to look at it.

If every person who uses a Live2D model used the tags, us riggers and artists would be impossible to find ;;; I hope you don't take this as an attack or anything, the vtuber and L2D community is just very important to me and it would benefit you as well 🙏 bsky.app/profile/kiry...

Hello! Your post came up in my Live2D feed and doesn't seem related to Live2D at all. Please don't use unrelated tags on bsky, they're very important for feeds and discoverability for artists and other creators 🙏 some people also block those who misuse tags so be careful. Thanks!

If you as a vtuber want as close to mocap as possible, please look into 3D models instead. They can be just as beautiful and stylized as 2D and have way more versatility for full body motion / posing. I even have my own 3D (by @scuffward.bsky.social )

I'm ALWAYS down for trying interesting things with tracking but my personal philosophy is to treat Live2D models more like puppets than like true mo-cap rigs. We have so much freedom with physics and animation in L2D, we should take advantage of it!

I was given the tip to reduce the arc from whatever the default is down to 3-5 which I think helped a lot, but yeah :')) I try to only use it for arc movements on physics or something now.

I saw a general post going around earlier today asking for two-spirit to be included in things like this if that helps ^^)/
