Oh you can play in third person! It's in the settings. :)

Oh sorry, Avowed!
I'm yet to play the Kingdom Come games, but they're on my list. Cyberpunk I have played a LOT and is definitely worth it! And don't skip on the DLC, it's great too!

I was on the fence on getting it now or waiting for a sale, but I got it and am actually really enjoying it! My logic was I want more fantasy RPGs so I'm supporting the ones that come out with my wallet. (Of course not everyone can afford to do so, I'm lucky that I can). It's a solid 'good' for me.

If it helps, I really enjoyed Dawntrail. It wasn't as amazing as Endwalker, but it was still fun!

Conversely, why have 'good guys' become so cringe, so unrelatable, so one-note? Bc 'good guys' are historically portrayed as rule-followers. Law-abiders. Both-sides-ers. For the last few decades, that means that the 'good guys' end up defending the same broken system *that produces the villains.*

That's good to know, thank you! I can deal with janky controls, (I certainly have before) and that's something they can fix down the line, too!

I'm still on the fence on whether to get it, (I have until I finish playing Deadfire) so I'd love to know your thoughts as you play more!

I only like them if it's a process or technique I want to learn, seeing someone do it can really help. Though most of those videos are *way* too fast to be useful.

Playing it right now and I love how Eder got jealous, not because he was interested in either of them but because he thought we had a bunch of in-jokes he was excluded from! XD

You've reminded me I actually still need to play the DLC! I haven't yet because I was sad we weren't getting anything else in that universe afterwards. I really wanted to go back and clean up/restore the world.

I loved that game and have been saying from the get-go that it deserved so much better. It unfortunately became the target of the 'anti-woke brigade' for having a POC woman as a lead, and because it had a bad trailer everyone jumped on the hate bandwagon.

Forcing people to see NSFW when they don't want to is only going to make it MORE likely that NSFW content gets removed or censored in the future.
You can't just ignore people's rights to consent because maybe one day they might restrict NSFW content.

Respectfully, that doesn't have anything to do with tagging nsfw content appropriately.

Except by ignoring it, all they're going to achieve is getting their posts reported by people who don't want to see them.

I can say it doesn't. I had a piece with full blown peen show up on my feed today that had a hashtag but wasn't marked as NSFW. I have it set to 'warn' just in case there's someone else around, so it's really obvious to see when a post is missing it.
comment in response to

It has nothing to do with hashtags. People need to flag the post as NSFW using the existing moderation tools, so they're hidden or give a warning to people who have those settings turned on.
Putting just a hashtag on a post does nothing.

Fans were disappointed from being given false expectations, both by dev comments & previous games. But mostly the 'anti-woke' crowd started a hate train and everyone got on the bandwagon. It's happened with other 'good but not great' games, too, like Forspoken.

But she's still blighted, so of course she joins the Wardens, and lives happily with my Warden Rook clearing the blight from Ferelden.

Harding survives a certain choice. Banter speculates that she could be basically immortal thanks to her connection to the titans. The group goes back to the island after recovering Rook, and finds Harding encased in stone which put her in a kind of stasis.

Coming back home to a place without a pet, or one less pet than normal, is always so jarring. It makes the space feel empty.
I hope his scans all come back with good news!

I've just found the best hack. Swear in your search request. It's a great way to bypass the AI summary and make your search history look like you're chronically pissed off at everything!

Another suggestion that's kept me alive: If you are able/want to, consider getting a pet or two! I strongly suggest two that are friends. My cats are what have kept me alive so far, and when I lost one to illness, it was the other that kept me going. They need me, I can't leave them.

Same! I'm so glad there's no limit on the word blacklist. But it makes me more frustrated when people post news/political images without alt text. Even *worse* when they self-censor words by swapping out one letter.

Been thinking about this a lot (not tagging the sender, for their privacy). Most of us won't have the chance for for grand, capital-R Resistance heroics. But every one of us will have a thousand small choices to make about how to live our lives and where to draw lines. Use them well.
