My computer mouse’s cable seems damaged, if it gets bent too much it gets disconnected from the PC and I have to reconnect the cable. … I might be able to just fix that myself, given that I’m learning electronics. It would be my first actual repair, which is what I wanna learn. Wish me luck :-)

I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society). We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it. This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.

I’m Norwegian, and the “gulf of America” situation is weird when opening Google Maps and Apple Maps. Google decides to tell me it’s both: Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America) Whereas Apple just calls it Gulf of Mexico. 1/3

[Twitter repost from July, because I'm still mad] Every so often Patreon adds a new feature which can send email notifications. When they do, they give each user a setting PER CREATOR for whether to send the email, and default it to on. I therefore need to manually turn off ~100 notifications.
