My predoctoral research grant (F31D) had a date for study section of early March. As of today, this has been deleted. We'll see what that means soon, I'm sure.

I'm a diversity student with a diversity training grant who does autism research. I'm already a lightning rod, so using that as a platform, I took ownership of making a statement to my grad program that DEI will continue through student-led initiatives. I urge everyone who can to do the same.

Academic DEI initiatives were never just about race: they also aid people with disabilities, from low income and rural backgrounds, and women. With the Pell Grant under review and the proposed 35% tax endowments, the goal is to force class immobility.
