I think it's a side effect of celebrity culture that ppl dehumanize those with big numbers and see them more as a concept than a person๐

It's sad because in my own side study with twitter I've gained exclusively bots for follows and no humans besides FROM BLSKY. Blue sky not only have my followers turned into regulars on streams but I can also post my art here without it being ai scraped.
I will never know how ppl use twitter.
