To be clear, what I'm saying is that doctors tend to put nearly any symptom they don't immediately understand down to anxiety.

Frequently overlooked? In my experience, if you go to a doctor with a shiv stuck out of your back and blood spurting everywhere, the doctor will say that the symptoms are clearly caused by ANXIETY!

* Sorry, that's Dickson Chemist, not Dickson Clinic.

I'm sorry to hear about your experiences! If you can afford to go private, it might be worth trying LDN (low-dose naltrexone), which helps some people but not all. You can get it from Dickson Clinic or Harpal Clinic, and I think both will do video consults.

I was wrongly denied a diagnosis because I also had anxiety, and the neurologist didn't understand that a patient can have two conditions at once. He thought he was being 'rigorous' but it meant I didn't get meds that could have helped me be more functional and have a better quality of life.

These days Labour contributes to actively destroying the NHS.

Not so much "let it fall to pieces" as "actively destroy it, and then lie about it".

Even applying it within pharmocology is dangerous. Clinicians who are expert in ME/CFS know that LDN significantly helps many patients. But no there are no RCTs because there is no research funding. So most patients cannot get this cheap, safe, effective, sometimes life-changing drug.

I think once a few of them faced consequences the rest would change their behaviour pretty quick.
