Someday the archeologists of another species will be looking and our remains and wondering why we chose generative AI over the health of our planet.

A core tenant of fascism is the subjugation of women, one of the most effective selling points to young men is that they are alone because women’s rights make women too independent. Convincing liberated happy women that there’s something wrong with them is a hard sell.

If anyone is interested in starting a bank rush when this goes through just know I’m game.

We need to start withholding our federal taxes if that is what it takes to fund essential programs in our state, why should the west coast fund a country that wants us to suffer?

You are not a billionaire and will never will be. The billionaires that exist now have safeguards in place to ensure small businesses like yours never make enough to be considered a threat. You defend them while they would sell you into slavery for a quick buck.

Check out Beaverton! Less expensive than Portland but close enough to downtown for the MAX/bus and we have an awesome library and farmers market. Also Beaverton pride is super cute.

Challenging this in court is the bare minimum, Oregon needs to actively resist when Trump does what he does best and overreaches. Republicans aren’t afraid of ignoring the law, we can’t be either.

Draw from life!! If you’re focusing on figures, quick poses is a nice website because it gives you a wide variety of models and times you. Also, I know it’s said a lot, but try to focus on realism before you develop a style. All the best manga artists started with the basics.

Art: The Definitive Visual History by Ross King is not a bad place to start if you want a compilation of well known styles and movements. Otherwise I’d start with things you already like, look up modern arts you like and see who they say they are inspired by.

I see a lot of people doomsdaying but honestly Hollywood is it’s own little bubble once you’re in, and I’d be shocked if California reaches UK levels of administrative transphobia in the next four years. It’s the people in red states below the poverty line that are really going to suffer.

Why use so much retouching when there’s so many available photos of what you actually look like. The way republican women contort themselves to desperately try to appeal to men who will never see them as equal human beings is a tragedy.

My only real gripe with Korra is trying to canonize an explanation for bending and the avatar. The world of ALTA felt real because the mythology behind bending varied from culture to culture, just like our world. Let magic be mysterious you know?
