I live in Huntington Beach & this plaque is just one of many attacks on the library. The council passed a book ban ordinance & tried to privatize library services. Attended the Huntington Beach, CA Library and Community Services Commission meeting last night where the Commission voted to approve a MAGA plaque for the library. So surreal, 100 or so normal folks against the ludicrous design and maybe 6 weirdos supporting. Feels like a microcosm of the USA RN.
