I was first introduced to your games due to that particular fuck-up. I've never played Warframe but I saw the circus coming after your game and decided to see what's up. Glad I stuck around after, HUNT and NEST are my newest additions to my Gila collection

Of course! The Crit Awards is great for finding new and upcoming APs and podcasts, while the awards is much more focused on the ttrpg itself (mechanics, layout, etc)

The true goal of "AP0STLE" and ultimately determine the fate of the Pact Worlds and all who reside in it

Grassroots rebellion. from backwater planets to the heart of the pact worlds, a movement is forming. The outcast, downtrodden and maligned of the galaxy band together under a new flag of freedom and unity, led by a charismatic tech-prophet "AP0STLE". our heroes must rise though the ranks to discover

Make a final boss, then make a bunch of mini bosses or puzzles. Add a floor for each miniboss/puzzle. Fill in minor monsters and dungeon clutter along the way. I found having a theme for the dungeon boss (necromancer, ogre chieftain, shadow demon, etc) helps inform the rest of the dungeon build

When you post a game for sale on itch, there are some basic options for background, font, etc. but if you know a bit of HTML you can customize it to your hearts content. Here's a great free resource on what can be done speakthesky.itch.io/itchios-html...

Itch.io is far more fair to it's creators, and there are tons of resources on how to customize you shop page to show off your zine

What are your thoughts on the system? I haven't seen much talk about it

This spell would be incredible in a Starfinder game, would it work against energy weapons or only kinetic?
comment in response to post
Okay but even the color sketch is captivating. Can't wait to see what the final cover looks like

Hi welcome to the skies! I'm Klippy, I'm part of a Discord server dedicated to teaching ttrpgs to everyone. I post random thoughts and maybe some world building stuff

but having the party hanging on for dear life while dealing with the trash monster is what made the encounter memorable!

Do people really think Death House is that hard? I only ran it once, but other than the animated broom throwing hands with our paladin (who then turned it into a plume for his helmet) my party never really had an issue. I actually felt it was one of the most balanced adventures for 5e

I'm sure I'm not the only one. Have you played a ttrpg that inspired something in your home game? Have you grown as a player or a DM after trying a new system?

Now my 5e game is completely off the rails. I dont reference the rules much and my players are having so much more fun than before. Reading and studying indie games is a constant source of inspiration for encounters in my home game. So to sum it all up: Play new games to inspire your favorite game

Let me explain: playing new systems will present new concepts, or approach familiar concepts in unfamiliar ways. I experienced this myself quite recently. My partner is running Monster of the Week, with a cartoonist spin, and it opened my eyes to how much fun "rule of cool" can be. 2/?

I'm pretty sure it's done exactly by 5e rules. +3 magic dagger, 4 dex, 1d4 base damage. Add 7d6 sneak attack dice and it's 15min-53max. 5e just be like that.

I've been so excited to see what y'all have done with the mystic, they're one of my favorite classes. I'm stoked that rhythm was kept as a connection!

One of the ttrpg community's best secrets is itch.io there are tons of indie games, adventures, and one shots available. I personally love the adventures from the town, forest, dungeon jam. They may not be in your specific system but the stories are pretty universal

"if you or loved one was diagnosed with mesothelioma..." or any other infomercial Especially if it has an earworm of a jingle

Start small! Use pre-written adventures! Heck, you don't even have to really know the rules! The fun in D&D is from playing together. Whether it's saving townspeople from goblins or saving the world from angry gods, as long as everyone is having fun together, you friends will love it

If you're interested, I help run a Discord Community that's all about learning and playing new systems. We have regular games and monthly one-shots. Let me know and I can get you an invite link

There's a 5e conversion by the original creators, but I prefer playing the system built for a setting rather than shaping a setting to a system
