There is an answer to this in the game.

Cool. Cool cool cool. I love it here.

So there’s just… not gonna be an opt out after this? If so, might need to future proof a couple of options here.

I would check your bank account. If it shows up there you at least have a charge. It’s been more than 4 hours now though so if you still don’t have a confirmation email I would submit a ticket to support.
comment in response to post
Like you got to the confirmation screen post payment process? Does it show up in your orders? Support said that the confirmation email can take up to 4 hours.
comment in response to post
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. PRE ORDER EMAIL JUST CAME THROUGH.
comment in response to post
That’s quite distressing to hear unfortunately. I opened a tab in another browser and it’s not in my orders. Nothing in my email yet either. Charge is Pending, but the message on the checkout screen quit cycling about 10 minutes ago. I’m seeing tons of people get emails now.
comment in response to post
When about did you submit your order? Do you have an LRG account? Does it show up under your pre-orders?
comment in response to post
Whelp. My message has quit cycling and is just stuck on “We’re still working on it…” now. I am very afraid.
comment in response to post
Not yet. I do see the charge pending on my credit card and I did see someone on Twitter say that they got a confirmation email from Purple Dot and it was still pending on the site. So very much hoping this is actually still “pending”.
comment in response to post
Oh the site is CHUGGING. I clicked Pay Now like 30 seconds ago and it’s cycling messages on the final checkout screen.

Sounds like the killer is the one doing the reaping.

Me, “Yes! They did it. It’s already at $100K+. I can’t wait!” Also me, “lmao what’s a conversion rate.”
comment in response to post
Not afraid to admit that it wasn’t until this video that it finally clicked this was LANDfall and not SANDfall because there weren’t any overtly French parts of the trailer.

I assume Akalabeth you’d put as a skip as well, but curious where you’d rank Underworld 1-2. Also, if you want a great early Ultima throwback but made modernly check out Nox Archaist; it’s even got Lord British in it.

I raise you a five-disc OCR album with every track you could possibly want from FFVI including a KILLER remix of Dancing Mad and fifteen minute Ending Theme. ocremix.org/album/46/fin...

Dammit. Typing too fast. 20 *more* hours. I’m at 56ish right now and I have two more areas before I’m done. My thoughts were very similar to what you’ve described here & about 10 hours ago I did something in this game that I basically never do in RPGs. It’s wild how much juice it has even late game.
comment in response to post
Once you have a few weapons for each character look at the skill point screen again and I think you’ll have a better idea of the way this particular game stats its characters.
comment in response to post
Marking this so I can know where you’re at in the game when you posted this. I’m curious how you’ll feel about this in like 20 hours of play time. lol.
comment in response to post
There are ways to mitigate this to where it’s barely an inconvenience, though I actually think Monoco rules for certain fights.
comment in response to post
If you would like a nudge in the right direction for stats I’ll give you some info. Also, yes, rerolling is plentiful.

I cannot fucking WAIT for you to keep going. I think I have about 10-15 hours left depending on how big some of the areas I know I have left are. If they land the ending it’s going on my all time list.

Would love a copy! I’ve done a bunch of Google Sheets conversions cause I like Excel better, so curious if I can get this working.

How do the Selena Goreo’s fair against the Post Maloreo’s?

Fuckkkkkkkk yessssss dude. We’ve gone the last two years at least once, so we’ll def come back. We love it.

Happy Day of Birth dude. Wishing you all the best varietals of cheese to sample this year!

This reminded me that I never told you I hit up The Royal American on your suggestion and spent like $70 on food and everything there was fucking incredible. The dogs, the nacho, the fuckin PATTY MELT. Easily the best food we had while we were down there. Fuckin 10/10.

this particular scenario. Games cost a lot less than therapy does, so I think we can make the call to be intentional with our design when these sorts of things are designed /specifically/ for the group that is mostly likely to be hardly impacted by that design.

A “healthy adult” could also say, “I have spent $500 on this gacha banner already. I need to stop pulling.” The same impulses/compulsion/need around gambling also affects the completionist mentality. I don’t think placing the onus on someone fixing their brain chemistry is the right way of viewing
comment in response to post
Want to +1 both of the suggestions here. I love a game that gives me the 100% even when it’s not actually 100% and every games needs a map/locator.

I hope he’s healthy enough this year to break the record.

The short answer to this part is: Yes. 100%. As someone who has “completed” IE: all achievements on 300+ Xbox games, I have a lot of thoughts about this not easily summed up in 300 characters. You may have just consigned my night to a writing session.

Only cybering I’ve ever done has been 69. These techniques are too advanced for me.

We absolutely fuckin love to see it.

Oh wow. The more you know. I just saw Main Theme was by Shimomura and assumed I had misremembered about Mitsuda (since I knew he did Xenogears).
comment in response to post
Yeah, it’s absolutely in an untouchable pantheon. Mitsuda is a genius, and I actually prefer a lot of his work to Uematau. Though, for me, Motoi Sakuraba is the GOAT. That’s why Pyroxene hits me so hard. Sakuraba, the themes of the game, and my real-life tragedy influenced by the game itself.
comment in response to post
Oops, it was nagging me, Shimomura did most of XC1 OST, including Main Theme. Mitsuda just contributed.
comment in response to post
Though I think that Xenoblade Chronicles 1 Main Theme is still my favorite Mitsuda work. I legitimately just sit on the screen and cry sometimes. It’s so beautiful. Same with Pyroxene of the Heart from Eternal Sonata. I’m a sucker for compassionate music swells.

I’m the same with Scars of Time, which I think edges out Corridors for me in terms of composition despite having similarities. The way SoT sweeps into the mid section and the tempo change moves me immensely. The violin is so wistful and melancholy over the upbeat percussion. It’s perfect.

Are these summaries meant to be “non-future spoiler”? IE: Until something is confirmed in the text, there’s no reference to any future information? I’ve taken a long break in between my last book, but I cannot for the life of me find a refresher that doesn’t immediately give away info.

Peaked at Vices and Virtues and never recovered.
comment in response to post
Completely unexpected ending. Game feels ripe for Alhekine’s Gun-esque hilarity.
comment in response to post
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought this might be Prey 2 (2027).
comment in response to post
Unironically, this is a good idea for fun “seasonal” / “episodic” tasks for in-game achievements, rewards, other incentive flavor here. I would be all over this.
comment in response to post
I know this is a serious post, but timeline made a funny. 20(ish) years ago, this /would’ve/ been misinfo or ragebait. Gears 1 on PlayStation?!!? Unthinkable in 06.
