Us too! It was such a wonderful thing for our kids to get in the mail every month.

Happy birthday!
I read Feast While You Can this year and I really liked it despite wanting more from the ending. The slow build up on the horror aspect was really well done.

- Wheat berries will keep indefinitely if kept in a sealed container & can be ground to make flour as needed.
- Ground flax can be used as an egg substitute.
-If people live close to a Meijer, there is a partner app called Flash Food that has 'expiring soon' foods including meat & produce @ 50% off.

Margaret Atwood made no bones about the fact that The Handmaid's Tale duology was derived from actual reality & events that had occurred.
This isn't fiction feeling like reality. This is fiction amplifying what has happened & showcasing how complicity & non-action leads to horrifying results.

A Whisper of Solace by Milena McKay (the narrator for this one had the most sultry voice π₯΅) and Captive in the Underworld by Lianyu Tan.
Also, The Mansion by @chloeslate.bsky.social did not disappoint. I can't speak to the narrator bc I read a physical copy, but it was so good from the start.

There's also like 29 other countries whose flags are red, white, and blue, so with that particular renaming the US is going to have a heck of a time keeping its claim.
I also expect nothing less from a grown man who goes by "Buddy" π

It's nice when the red flags identify themselves.
Have you tried Feeld yet? It's been the best one I've found so far as a pan/poly person.

I have felt alienated by the @thedemocraticparty.bsky.social for a very long time. It's continuously establishment politicians shoved down our throats. Yet, I put on my big girl pants, & still vote blue bc there's no other viable option. People need to own their choices, not deflect it onto others.

I absolutely agree with you on your point that there is a vast diversity of people in various groups.
I disagree w/ not calling out problematic subgroups, which could be construed as judging depending on how the reader interprets it. Regardless, comfort politics got us here & has no place anymore.

You literally were asking others to talk to you nicer for choosing the lifestyle you chose to live. That's comfort politics.
You are choosing to alienate yourself and fall on your own sword while blaming others for it. Do your own shadow work and figure out why you feel so triggered.

Respectfully, if you know you voted blue & try to stay on the correct side of history, you have no need to bellyache.
I like many activities associated w/ tradwifery. I also know I am emphatically not one. You can, in fact, separate the 2 & not require others to play comfort politics for your sake.

Just bought some seeds to round out the start of our permacultured yard from some regenerative farmers/trusted seed accounts on Etsy yesterday.
The only things left for us to get are switchgrass and a red bud start.
It's a lot of hurry up and wait right now!
