Also, you’re lowering the bar for celebrating one group for meeting (or excusing another group for not meeting) standards that are definitely totally neutral despite being developed during periods when only white dudes could do stuff. Blah blah essentialism and a eugenic cherry on top.

While you are all very, very different in ways that matter, there is only one singular and unified human experience! If you imply otherwise, you’re sexist. And a racist. And probably some other bad things.

We don’t need them, and, actually, you can’t have them. We’ve made sure of it. Why? Nothing can be done to benefit one group specifically because that’s unfair and discriminatory.

But, while it is an awful, terrible thing for anyone to undermine sex-based protections, please also keep in mind that we don’t need them. Or, for that matter, any social or research programs designed to help or serve the needs of women. Or any ethnic or racial groups. Or sexual minorities.

How dare you not recognize that women (defined in a totally normal way as large-gamete producers) have specific needs and experiences? How dare you not realize that those needs arise so naturally from biology that there’s no way trans women could ever share them?

Per executive order, there are only two sexes and they’re fundamentally different. It’s very, very important to recognize this simple fact!

Yep, and I'm sure it won't be weaponized against us and our students at all!

I am hopping mad. I watched that video with a sneer of anger on my face I didn’t even realize until my face started hurting. America must figure out how to counter these utter scumbags in the White House because damage is being done to American honor—has already been done—that will never be undone.

Thank you. Bullshit capitulation is exactly right. To see a policy that did so much harm to gay service members being spun not only as positive but as something they wanted boggles the mind.
