@maddow.msnbc.com As Netanyahu arrives in DC, there was also a protest on Saturday to end the genocide in Gaza. It also had 1000’ of protestors in asking with the 50501 protest in DC.

The other DC protest today - also drawing 1000’s of protestors.

MAGA’s model.

DeWine is likely to sign into law the most dramatic ending of academic freedom in the modern history of higher education. There are even deeper red states that aren’t doing what Ohio’s doing.

“Instead of taking a wait-and-see approach, those in higher ed need to stand up for themselves as a united front and make the case that an attack on one is an attack on all.”

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

@maddow.msnbc.com It took Trump 6 weeks to abandon Ukraine, how long till he demands support for Russia? If this indicates we switched sides in the war, we cannot assume that means he intends to simply stop helping Ukraine. Putin will want more from Trump!

Always thought Trump wanted to be the star of the show; but now given all the tv/podcasters he put in leadership I think it’s clear - he wants to direct! All the rest of us are just ‘extras’ in his show, he thinks all anyone cares about is getting a part because it’s all just a movie to him

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

Informative post by Robert Reich:

Could someone place an order for 100 more Jasmine Crocketts for overnight delivery to the Democratic Party thx in advance

If congress has the right to override a presidential veto, doesn’t that alone make the ‘unitary executive’ theory of the presidency moot?

@maddow.msnbc.com Is there a Project 2025 logo? I think every Republican Senator should have it placed next to their name next to their (R) so the public knows they fully endorse the project by approving Russell Vought to OMB

What happens when President Musk loses in court, and then ignores the court orders? He has already shown he’s willing to ignore laws and policy, how does a court compel him? Same question for Vice President Trump?

This is Chad Pergram of Fox News. One of the great Hill reporters, no matter what you think of his network.

Republican and Democratic voters can finally agree - neither of us got who we voted for to be president. President Musk is running everything now - Stop the Steal!

From Timothy Snyder…. As every CEO knows, the workings of markets depend upon the government creating a fair playing field. The ongoing takeover will make life impossible for all but a few Always hear the ‘power of the market’ and the ‘private sector’. Now is the time to flex some of this power.
