It's truly a unique game. And I think you say it well, show don't tell. Way to often narrative and wold building are afterthoughts to game mechanics, and some times good worlds or stories disappoint the player's with weaker game mechanics. It is a wonderful art to make games that have both.

I'm very intrigued by Animal Well. As a developer, I would love to make a game like it one day (like 100 other game ideas). Are you, or anyone out there, aware of other games that fits the experience of Animal Well- vibe, game design, etc?

If you code in unreal then you can check for performance issues before you export. Will keep you sane for longer, I think. ;)

We love Silicon Valley in our little Danish office, therefore I would strongly advise you to play our game 👉 "Necesse" - it is not at all what you look for, but it's probably what you need. 😏 Because we've programmed the game so you with two hands, times "mean gaming time" can have twice the fun.

It seems like a pretty cool idea to include a glossary, and putting it at the end of the story seems like the only proper place to me. Good luck with your writing, sounds like you have some good words ahead of you. :)
