Okay Bluesky #januarty I feel like this is a touch of a reach for #opposites but it’s the closest I have I thiiink. I hand stitched an oak tree on one rain boot, and a rose bush on the other. I feel like embroidery & rainboots are opposites, as well as trees/flowers…sorta? #wearableart #artsky

I actually have a piece that mostly fits the monochrome requirement for todays #januarty the center is a hammered coreopsis flower to extract its dye, then I hand stitched the embroidery around the flower & added a bit of watercolor around the edge of the hoop. Kinda turns it into a trippy flower
