The thumbnail sketch and the layout are on separate pieces of paper, roughly 3x5” and 8.5x11”, respectively. The pencils and inks are on the same sheet of 11x17 Bristol.

Of course it’s okay to ask! I routinely flip my sketches at the layout stage to check for skewing. Ultimately I think I just liked Superman better on the left.
