If it wasn’t Gabbard, Patel or Kennedy and if it wasn’t Ukraine, and if it wasn’t the Big Balls crew, it is really hard to imagine any line at all.

I read the headlines of the WSJ every day only to reaffirm my decision late last year not to renew after 30 years. Its EB claims to support the unitary executive but is propping up something far worse.

Really respect your work, Peter. But the NYT overall has been a big disappointment the past few weeks. Events AP statement today was milquetoast.

Don't you think they blame the Democrats for a shutdown?

You guys are doing great work. I wish there could be some way to explain the market’s non-reaction to the significant increase in risk.

I don’t think he should be fired but this seems more than him being wrong.

Here is what I don’t get. Why is the stock market just ignoring the governance risks in DC? Total anonymity there. But it barely flinched on the tariff posturing and seemingly has ignored the risks that the DOGE activities present to our economy. Do not understand that.

It is clear that they have been cowed into submission. If they raise their complaints, they will be attacked both from the top and the MAGA faithful. And they don't want to pay the Zuck/Bezos suck up fee. Not saying it's morally correct, but "shut up and dribble" is the safer option.

You must not have been watching the actual game.

Dominating? 113 yards in one half. 16 points with 4 possessions inside the Alabama 40? Let’s see what pans out in the second half.

Michigan up by only 6 with 4 possessions inside the Alabama 40. If they win, Alabama will have shown some resilience and poise.

Looks now like Alabama was only mostly dead.

Yeah, that game is over. And Michigan has the defense that is on fire.

The ability to insult someone about an argument they made without actually engaging with any of the points in their actual argument is one of the biggest weaknesses of sites like this. Touché.
