It is the core of Europe’s future independent security alliance. These countries could be holding these exercises under the NATO flag. There’s a reason they’re not.

There was some talk of a “Death Panel” a while back, if I recall correctly. Seems like they took a real shine to the idea.

How’s the JEF coming? Anything we can do to, uh, ya know, speed things up a bit there?

Finally. Yes. I truly think that the movies have lulled us into thinking that every problem has a military solution, as long as the troops are scrappy enough and have a killer soundtrack. If this did not achieve its objective, the problem will have been in the order to attempt it not the execution.

If the lens were just a bit wider, you’d have seen their belts holding their flashlights and walkie-talkies.

You can bet a few people bought a ton of solar stocks just a day before this leaked.

We all are going to die. But they’ll get over it. Who knew that the Death Panel was right in front of us all along?

Kind of the cartoonist to have had Trump spelling “obliterated” correctly.

Was “forget the intelligence” already taken?

The world is a big place. America is just a small part of it. Explore!

Spoken like people who don’t have the luxury of playing politics with the Russian threat.

Maybe Canada should offer to drone strike the US cartels. Feel free to suggest you might anyway, if we decline.

But what does it matter anyway in this time of contempt for the integrity of intel? Ultimately, if only with a sharpie, intelligence will assess this to have been critically successful. And somehow Iran will also be as close as ever to achieving a nuclear bomb, only with more reason to do so.

I thought that Brett Favre was still living in Mississippi.

If it helps, I live in a region of the world which is still actively and deeply committed to supporting Ukraine’s fight for its freedom.

Expecting Trump to know when he’s lost asks too much of him. That’s one of the things that makes him so dangerous.

Wait until Israel and Iran hear that Trump has given them just two weeks to stop violating the truce that Trump insists exists.

Yes, well, I hear that she’s afraid. I wonder if she sees herself as a leader, and, if so, what kind of a leader she sees herself as.
comment in response to post
Well, someone doesn’t know what he’s doing at any rate.

Wait until he gives them two weeks to behave, or else he will hope no one has noticed that two weeks have passed.

America has worked really hard to prove that we are no longer a trustworthy partner.

They believe in their anger, and Trumps tells them that they’re right to be angry and where to direct it. That’s all they want.
comment in response to post
That’s what I came here to say. Thank you.

It is great to see Estonia investing so aggressively in its future security. Just never forget that America has proven itself, at best, an unreliable partner. NATO must acknowledge and adjust to this new reality.

Cue the hue and cry! We will find out that *this* was why we had abandoned the Ukrainians all along. Imagine if the suit had been tan.

Don’t worry. SCOTUS will overturn itself when a Democratic administration is in the process of deporting Afrikaners to Mali.

By any chance, did Trump give the Russians two weeks before he might react in some ambiguous fashion?

And yet, most of all, I still fault the American electorate.

I am happy that genius like this exists in our world.

I checked and, wouldn’t you know it, the warranty on this one expired after 230 years.

I think less of myself for how much I enjoyed that pun.

Isn’t Santos in jail? This cannot be the endorsement Cuomo was hoping for, though it may well be the one he deserves.

From the time of her UN speech, she has been my hero.

That’s a lot better of an answer than I had hoped for. Still, from the photos that we have, what, if anything, do we know?

I mean, ideally, right?

Just make sure that we don’t make the same mistake Ukraine did: we must take our nukes with us.

How would you assess the damage?

Trump is like the idiot rich kid with no friends. All the smarter, jackass kids manipulate him into doing all sorts of crazy stuff for them, playing on his hope that they will let him be their friend.

I couldn’t help but notice that you have only one show in Europe. Any chance that you’re going to be adding others? I can vouch for Tallinn being quite nice this time of year. Just sayin’ (Saw TJ Miller here last year.)

Not sure if there’s something I’m missing, but Dick Cheney did exactly the same thing in demanding that the USIC support his desired conclusion. Obviously a valuable cautionary tale here which go ignored. I guess I just don’t get this post.

It’s not just that we are the baddies. We are, and that’s truly terrible. But what’s actually scary to me is that we are not even six months into this administration. There is literally no guessing where we will be even just next year.

Not if you don’t care about the people in front of you, and the prospect of accountability is laughable.
