In Super Mario 64, Boos have a certain minimum turning radius. If Mario is positioned a precise distance away from a Boo, it will try to go after Mario but never be able to turn tightly enough to actually reach him. The Boo will circle fruitlessly around Mario forever.

By performing an absurdly lengthy and precise series of actions in Super Mario 64 (detailed in the video), Mario will be able to reach an incredibly narrow seam that allows him to stand underwater in Jolly Roger Bay. This has no known practical purpose.
