Thanks for hosting another Artshare! I'm a character artist living in Japan. I really enjoy drawing my OCs, currently as Tarot cards :3

A big jacket for the bee design on the first one is such a great idea! And those chubby bee sketches are just adorable <3

I'm Soy and I love drawing cartoony poster-like art!
Currently, I'm absolutely obsessed with finding different limited color palettes and try to make them work in my illustrations <3

For once, I see so many opportunities to improve, and instead of dreading it, I feel excited <3

Sure, I need to pay more attention to composition now, and to the colors/values. Sure, it might make my art less "desirable" in terms of trades or commissions, if I don't follow characters' colors exactly - or maybe I'll figure out the way to do just that and still make it in my own style ->

I love the process, I really enjoy spending time figuring out the colors and trying different palettes for the piece, I feel accomplished when I finish the piece, and most importantly - I crave drawing more once again, just like a decade ago when I just started drawing. ->

Turned out, all my favorite recent pieces share the same features: poster or card-like composition, flat colors, preferably limited colors. So, I tried digging that way and OH. MY. GOD. I love this. I needed this. I finally see the path I want to take. ->

I'm definitely trying to be more active and comment on others art more nowadays, turns out it's just as enjoyable for me as receiving comments xd
Still, I know there's way for improvement, but feels like a step in the right direction nonetheless
