Make sure you download old twitch highlights, especially if you're a speedrunner, in lieu of twitch making the worst decision known to man and limiting highlights to 100 hours starting April 19th. If you know someone who isn't active anymore, now would be the time to start backing their stuff up

Zelda Speedrunning makes no sense right now. The games are "dead" on SRC with like maybe 50-70 runners at most at any given time for the most popular game. But any youtube video uploaded about zelda speedrunning seems to get tens to hundreds of thousands of views. Even more than mario gets.

Migrating to my OG SRC account for any future runs (which I will probably be doing) My current submissions will be from "unregistered user", just a warning. SRC seems buggy, but my account with all submitted runs is technically disabled. My "new" old account has no runs right now.

I think I'm going to, for the moment, go back to BotW Any% My time is great, but it's improvable, and I feel like I can't close the book on it yet when I can beat my time (and by extension others can as well) The goal is now Sub 23:15... What am I getting myself into man...

Spent 10 minutes learning S&S Skip in TP, so I guess I'm ready to do it tomorrow 😎 For real though probably gonna fail it multiple times, but I kinda understand what I'm looking for in terms of cues. The more I learn the more excited I am to do runs. Forgot how good motivation feels.
