Me everyday since November 6th:

The one positive I have found from the series finale of the United States is we have a lot of talented cartoonists.

The thing I love about gardening the most is it gives you room to experiment. Today was thinning out the seedlings and starting seeds that didn’t happen in another way. Thinning seedlings are a necessary evil, but I figured this year I would try propagating and see what happens 🌱

It’s fun starting a new hobby with ADHD because I never know if I’ve found a new lifelong passion or if I’m going to spend $2000 on stuff and immediately lose all interest

Under fascism, no one is safe. Universities stayed quiet as the admin targeted DEI & foreign aid, censored research, etc. Now, they face devastating cuts to indirect cost rates, threatening research & operations. Silence won’t protect institutions. It won’t protect people; it never does.

I take back every time I’ve ever called a dystopian novel unrealistic because I thought there was no way the world could ever actually get THAT bad.

I needed a win. My tomatillos and bee balm have sprouted 🥹🌱 #Gardening #GardenSky

If we make it to 2028- Fetterman has got to go.

They are seeking to criminalize integration efforts across public life. We must be clear eyed and direct about what’s happening here. We have not witnessed this blatant of a comprehensive governmental attack on integration since the Civil Rights Movement. slate.com/news-and-pol...

The seeds are off and running for this season! As always excited to see what happens 🥰🌱 #GardenSky #PlantSky #Gardening

➡️ January 20: FAA director fired ➡️ January 21: Air Traffic Controller hiring frozen ➡️ January 22: Aviation Safety Advisory Committee disbanded ➡️ January 28: Buyout/retirement demand sent to existing employees ➡️ January 29: First American mid-air collision in 16 years Making America Great Again!

I know we’re beyond Christmas at this point, but catching up on crafts I wanted to make. I am just trying to keep my hands productively busy to quiet my mind and calm my nerves for a bit. #CraftSky #Craftiverse

The Tome app is available in the US as of today and holds up! It’s like Bluesky but for just books. I’m digging it so far 📚 #booksky

Donald Trump is pardoning insurrectionists and renaming geographic landmarks to distract you from the fact he is literally about to freeze all federal assistance dollars. He is flooding the zone to distract you. Don't let him!

Today is a solemn day of remembrance for the millions murdered in the Holocaust.   On the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, we look to our history as a warning against the dangers of antisemitism and intolerance and honor the promise: never again.

#Booksky: If you haven’t already, export your data from Goodreads (an Amazon company) and import it into StoryGraph, a book-tracking app founded and led by a Black woman.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's intentional. They're calling it "flooding the zone." The intent is to overwhelm and exhaust us so we can not effectively resist. Something simple you can do right now now is to make sure to take breaks and rest.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

Thank goodness: after an outpouring of public dissent, Lackland reversed its terrible decision and will thankfully be teaching recruits about the Tuskegee airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots again. A reminder that we must always push back: www.expressnews.com/news/article...

The road to fascism is paved with people who told you to stop overreacting.

When the 4 Non Blondes said “And so I wake in the morning and I step outside, and I take a deep breath and I get real high and I scream from the top of my lungs WHAT’S GOIN ON?!” I really felt that.

I was so sleep deprived I missed the announcement that I won for an employee of the year award and had to pretend I heard what they said. This will be a new “remember when you” moment my brain will taunt me with.

My American spy did not take notes while my Chinese spy was talking 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank the universe for Abbott Elementary. I needed a good laugh right now.

Listened to some TV analysis this morning. Um. No more of that. I’m going to go back to just listening to the voices in my head.

Why did Trump declare a national energy emergency? Simply put, Trump’s declaration aims to accelerate fossil fuel projects on public lands and roll back environmental protections.

There were better shows on Netflix when it cost $10 a month

Does anyone else feel like we should start a book legger system? Just thinking out loud. #booksky

When someone shows you who they are believe them. You’re bearing witness to it.

Looks like Fetterman and Casey will be responsible for giving me my book recs, hyperfixation hobbies, recipes, travel plans, etc. hope they are ready for the endless calls.
