I think the hardest thing is taking time off in a purposeful and deliberate way so it's actually restorative, vs just zoning out on scrolling/screens or failing to get anything done and beating yourself up about it. There's a difference betw rest and suspended animation. #kidlitchat

There is a lot of fatigue in the creative economy. In-house creatives are not immune from it. When I’m feeling worn down by the scarcity, competition, and technological shifts, I try to focus on the fulfillment that comes from my own creative work, be it paid or hobby. Creation heals.
