The problem is that this this “price” didn’t have to be paid. We had a booming economy. Inflation was down to pre pandemic lows. The unemployment rate was the lowest it’s been in 50 years. We aren’t paying higher prices because of inflation. We’re paying higher prices because of corporate greed.
