Ha! I remember having to drive the leg through Chicago (I had a van license). There was a “Just Say No” parade so getting to the Palmer Hotel was complicated. Have the girl who grew up in a town of less than 1k people drive in Chicago, they said. It will be fun, they said. 🤣

1-Rest & exercise. 2-I read many books on my last sabbatical. Each book has one PowerPoint slide that includes a photo of the book cover with quotes & notes. I inserted topic/“chapter” heading slides to make it easier to locate ideas as I pull that work into class prep or writing. Good luck w/ book!

…honest evaluations regarding what I can see (e.g., working on followership; speaking up in class). Love reports that confidence speaking extends to other classes and keeping up with readings led to voluntarily reading more than required! Student growth is inspiring to witness.

Ha! Was just working on a similar translation between Minnesotans and Pacific Northwesterner. The latter was hoping 4 meals were involved (breakfast, lunch, supper, and dinner)!
