There was a book written in the aftermath of the war that's a collection of interviews with different people in Marburg that lived under the regime called "they thought they were free". It's.. a read, not a pleasant one, but one worth reading.

I started a new job as a Shepard. Pays decent, weather's usually nice. Hell, it's just a plus being outside after spending eight hours a day in the office. The one thing that bugs me is just how shy everyone is. They just avoid me. I don't get why all my coworkers are so sheepish.
